Many of you have probably noticed, we’re big fans of experimentation here. We’re continually trying out new features here on the site in an attempt to provide more value to our readers and engagement with the community. Some of those experiments work out, some of them don’t, and that’s okay. The important part (to us, anyway) is that we make the attempt. The concept of featuring guest posts on Saturdays flopped big time (we didn’t get a single nibble aside from the couple folks we keep in contact with for guest posts already), so we’ve decided to try something a bit different: The Hunter Hall of Fame.
There are a lot of Hunters out there that love to collect pets, Spirit Beasts in particular. Well, we’ve decided to give folks a chance to have their moment in the spotlight. If you’re one of those Hunters that loves to collect Spirit Beasts, listen up. Moving forward, every Sunday we’d like to feature a Hunter out there that has been officially inducted into the Hunter Hall of Fame by taming every Spirit Beast in the game.
What We Want From You
If you’ve tamed every Spirit Beast in the game, get screenshots of you with each of your Pew-Pew-Lazer buddies and send them to us. Along with your screenshots, let us know:
- Your character’s name
- The server you hail from
If you’d like, you can also include a shout-out to your guild and a link to their site as well or a link to your own site if you have one.
Optionally, if you’ve got a story you’d like to share about each of your snazzy pals, feel free to include it and we’ll post it along with your screenshots.
The Guidelines
To keep the look and feel of our Hall of Fame posts uniform, we ask the following of those submitting screenshots:
- Do not include any UI elements in your screenshot (action bars, unit frames, etc)
- Do not crop your screenshot
And that’s it! Here’s a good example of the type of screenshot we’re looking for (one for each Spirit Beast):
Each Sunday, we’ll post new additions to The Hunter Hall of Fame in the order in which they were received.

This almost makes me want to get rid of some of my pets and tame me some spirit beasts. I am too attached to my current pet collection, though so I just can’t get rid of any of them.

Maybe I should get off my butt and try to tame one of them beasts. It can be difficult if you’re very casual, but not impossible from what I’ve read and seen.

I really want to have a BM off-spec, and since I’m raiding in a guild, I just can get rid of my Sv-spec.
But I want a spirit beast!

Tamed 3, but killed Loque’nahak twice, once for frostbitten, and once because I wasn’t BM spec’d. Does that make me a bad guy? Do I make a BM spec just to get in the hall of fame? Hmmmm . . .

I have yet to find out how to do a screenshot but in my realm.I have tamed all rares well over 20 plus times …
From Arcturis,down to the lowest level pets .Have given at least 10 spirit beast’s per type to many people .
