In our last article we talked about Hunter loot from Icecrown Citadel, but there was a gaping hole in the coverage, wasn’t there? What about Hard Mode loot, you ask. Part of the reason I separated the two articles was to keep things brief and focused, the other reason was because Hard Mode ICC hasn’t been cleared yet and it’s possible–nay, probable–that the loot tables are incomplete and will be updated with new information soon. In which case, I didn’t want to have an article up that was partly accurate and partly not. (Also, a lot of the hard mode loot is called the same thing as items from normal mode, just with increased stats, and I didn’t want there to be confusion.) So today we’re going to take a look at the hard mode loot as we know it, and we’ll post a follow-up later on as needed.

How about adding item type information?
Something like:
Snowserpent Mail Helm – Head
Protector’s Mark of Sanctification – Item Badge
Oathbinder, Charge of the Ranger-General – Melee Weapon
…
And so on.
These lists may become even more useful this way.

I didn’t really think that was necessary since you can mouse over the items and see exactly what they are and what stats are on them. Was I mistaken in thinking that was sufficient?

Just thought that the person looking, say, for a heat slot upgrades would have to check them all to find those, he’s interested in.
Yet it can be that this king of need is of little importance.
