Yes, another PSA. I know, I know, you’re silently hating me right now. I promise, it will be over soon and we can get back to the good stuff. Last week, I mentioned the possibility that we would be releasing a monthly newsletter and began working on a first draft of the first issue. Well, I was sufficiently pleased with the first draft, and so it’s official–THM will now have a monthly newsletter available in addition to the content we publish here on the site. Today’s post will go over some of the details.
Issue #001

The THM Newsletter will be released on a monthly basis, on the last Tuesday of each month.
The first issue of the newsletter will be released on November 24th.
For those who want to get settled in early or want to learn more about the newsletter, we’ve set up an info and subscription page here on the site. The page outlines what the newsletter is all about, what you can expect and ways you can contribute to the newsletter in addition to a subscription link.
Screenshot Contests
To go along with the newsletter, THM will be hosting monthly screenshot contests on our forums. This weekend, I set up a new section of the forums dedicated to posting screenshots that will be the home of our contests, and you’ll find a post there detailing how these contests will work: THM Monthly Screenshot Contest.
Basically, each month we’ll have a contest on the forums to choose our Screenshot of the Month that will be featured in the next issue of our newsletter. Participants will submit their screenshots on the forums, and submissions will be accepted for two weeks. Once the submission deadline has passed, we’ll open voting for one week and after that the winner will be chosen. The winner’s screenshot will be featured in the next issue of the newsletter, along with a short blurb about the winner (and a link to their site where applicable).
For full details about the screenshot contests, check out this thread on the forums.
And that’s it! The painful part is over now. I told you it wouldn’t take long.
Happy Hunting!
