Some of you may have already heard, I’ve taken over authorship of the Scattered Shots column at WoW Insider. Dan, the Managing Editor at WoW Insider, approached me about the column a short time ago asking if I would be interested in joining the team, and I said I would be more than happy to do so. Since then, we’ve been working out the logistics (paperwork), and yesterday I officially joined the WoW Insider team.
What About THM?
THM will remain largely unchanged. I still plan to maintain this site just as I always have, only now I’ll also be writing for WoW Insider. I’m sure some of you are likely wondering, is the Hunter Island contest a means for me to choose my replacements here? The answer is: no. It was pure coincidence that I chose to take on additional authors here at the same time I was offered a job with WoW Insider, so put your mind at ease on that score. There was no grand design at work (I’m not that clever).
Anyway, I just wanted to post the formal announcement here, for those that may have missed the news. Thanks to all of you for your support, and I hope to see you at Scattered Shots and here in the comments (as always)!

Oh, that is really awesome! It’ll be great to have a non-BM hunter writing over there. I was a bit sad at a Scattered Shots tagline a few months ago where the previous writer wrote something like “who, in spite of the name, does not have the scattered shots talent”.
