It’s not often I participate in the Blog Azeroth Shared Topics. Not because I don’t think they’re fun and interesting, but usually because I figure you’ve read enough about the Shared Topics from the other blogs that participate that you don’t need to read more about it here. However, today one of the Shared Topics caught my eye and I couldn’t resist participating.
This particular topic, Character Theme Songs, was something I’d thought about before, actually. One of the private servers I’d played on for a short stint had a similar post on their forums that a bunch of folks participated in, myself included, and we all had a lot of fun, so the reminder from BA was a welcome one, and I wanted to carry the fun over to all of you.
As you can probably surmise from the post title, the Shared Topic question is:
What would be the theme song for your toon?
Of course, being both an alt-aholic and an audiophile, it was difficult for me to pick just one song, so I allowed myself the indulgence of choosing one song… for each of my toons.

I think I wrote about this a long time ago, I think it was actually a comment in someone else’s blog though, don’t know if I ever actually posted on it.
Because I RP my characters, they all get different personalities and different songs– Tawyn is “Scatman” (cliche, but what can ya do?), Lunapike is either “The Place We Knew” (OcRemix) or “Everyday” (Dave Matthews Band)– the others have yet to be decided!

Hi! I’m Lalar, I’ve been reading your blog but I have actually never had anything intelligent to say. Your blogs have actually helped me with my Character, Lalar. And even though I have only been playing WoW about 4~6 months, your guides on Hunter’s Pets, Raiding for Beginners, and all the blogs you have on equipment and skills have been an amazing help. LOL I may sound corny, but yes, ty for all you do
And for the topic, my hunters theme song is sometimes Serenity by Godsmack
Don’t love the band so to say, but that song just fits at times

I’m Silverblood, and I’m a great fan of your blog. I love hunters and they’re my favorite class. This blog helped me to play the class wisely, and helped me to be a good hunter. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experiences with us, Lassirra.
And, about the topic, and being a level 58 Blood Elf, Survival Hunter, in a PvP realm, so I think that the song that fits to my character lifestyle is Metallica’s Seek & Destroy, and I dedicate this song for every Rogue in the world (of warcraft,

As some of the other lurkers have decided to come out and play, I thought it was high time that I said hello as well. I’ve got a 70 PvE Dwarf (female!) hunter on Area 52 and as I no longer play her because I recently defected to the horde I miss her very much. For her there’s Yellowcard’s “Rough Draft (acoustic version)”, not my normal genre, but a good song. I’ve just started levelling my new Troll Hunter, and I can’t wait to get her to 70 to get back into the raid scene. Dervisch is well.. a dervish and deserves the cliche song “Bodies” by Drowning Pool for now. Oh, one more notable song, Dahlianna, my boyfriend’s paladin, had the theme song “Let me be your Armor” by Assemblage 23 (give it a listen if you haven’t perfect tanking song

I’ve often thought about switching to horde (I do like my belf hunter–I’m an elf kinda gal, so sue me
), but it never quite works out. I always end up missing all my alts alliance side.
