I was browsing through the Death & Taxes guild site today, and found a link to an online tool that is, bar-none, the most useful thing I’ve found on the internet in ages.
The link to this tool was buried deep in the bowels of D&T’s site (actually, it was linked in a forum post describing their application guidelines), and I think it’s quite easily one of the handiest things I’ve come across in quite some time.
It does precisely what I had hoped Warcrafter would do (but didn’t deliver on). And, honestly, had I known about this tool a week or so ago, I could’ve saved myself a LOT of work.
If you’d like to see it in action, here’s a sample. The link goes to a template I’ve saved that represents the gear changes I discussed in my articles about my quest to hit 800 Agility unbuffed. (And, it includes enchants, which I didn’t.) The thing that really got me excited about this is that it did out all the math for me regarding changes in my base stats (Agi: 835, Crit: 33.55%, Hit: 12.01%–which means I could drop Surefooted–AP: 2062 without Hawk), and it will allow me to save other templates (for example, a wishlist/demo of gear from T5+ content).
You should check this thing out. It’s awesome.
Thanks D&T!
