The Hunter’s Mark is in the process of choosing an official mascot, and it’s up to you to decide which pet makes the cut! We’ll be starting with deciding what kind of pet the site’s new mascot will be (check out the poll in the sidebar to cast your vote), and then we’ll move on to taking suggestions for names, followed by an art contest to pick the perfect depiction of our proud new pet. It’s time to put those pet selection skills to the test!
Each Sunday, The Hunter's Mark would like to feature new inductees into the Hunter Hall of Fame. Have you tamed every Spirit Beast in the game? Send us an email with screenshots of you and each of your Spirit Beasts and you'll be featured here on the site.
Make sure to include in your email: your character's name and the server you play on. If you have a web site, include a link to that as well if you'd like. Also, do not include any UI elements in your screenshots (such as action bars) and do not crop your screenshots. Submissions will be posted in the order in which they are received. You can check out this post for more details.

How about a bird of prey. Although I hate running with hunters that have them. and I know others do as well. I enjoyed my Owl, My bald eagle I have and now I am contemplating getting one of the daggercap hawks. they just look interesting.

Right on Paradoxx. Vargul Blighthound is my day-to-day pet but, as a mascot, I’d have to choose armor-plated boar (a few models/names.) Don’t get me wrong, I love cats…just not in WoW. :p Leveling up the boar was just THE pet and the armor plated ones looked the best. I haven’t used a boar since probably level 50? but I’d think most hunters would identify with it…if you had to pick just one.

Not just any cat .. Humar the Pridelord.
I think the cat is perfect to represent hunters.
It can not be summoned. [You have to wait for it to appear]
Its very rare and almost unique.
I found Humar by luck while exploring the barrens.
And the had to camp there for a week so my son could have him for his pet.

I have to vote for the Blighthound, even though I recently gave mine up to get a free stable slot – I think of that as a temporary thing though, as I love the feet on fire look. And I also love seeing the armored pig in the graphic – that was a longtime pet of mine and I still miss him. Can’t believe I feel like I need more stable slots!
