Like many other bloggers, I’ll be picking up my pre-order of Wrath on release night. For those in the area (of which I imagine there are few), feel free to stop by and say hello. I’ll be going to the GameStop inside the University Mall in South Burlington Vermont, likely around 10pm. I’ll be there with my boyfriend, and likely a few other friends. I doubt there will be many other women lined up outside to get their copy, so figuring out which is me shouldn’t be too difficult, but to give you a hand: I’ll be the one in the white Columbia jacket. (It’s cold here, ya know?)
If I were there, Lass, I’d be there…if you know what I mean.
I’ll be at one my local Game Stop in Raleigh, NC. And it will probably be cold as well though not as much as Vermont.
Since Amazon would guarantee same-day delivery on the regular edition, but not the Collector’s Edition, I’ll be getting up in the morning, and driving all over Los Angeles to get our copies. (And yes, I took Thursday and Friday off work, for a geek’s four-day weekend.) It only took three stores to get a CE when TBC came out, and I’m OK with going to even more if need be.
My plan is to hit non-game stores like Target and Wal-Mart first, since most gamers I know will be going to places like GameStop and Best Buy. I’ve heard stories of CE editions languishing in Target stores for days before they were cleaned out back when TBC came out.
Found you through Tzia’s “Have Bow Will Travel”. But We (Tzia, I, and a large group of others) will be heading to the only GameStop on this half of the state to get our copy at midnight and then it’s a 4 day LAN Party to power level to 80. Hopefully we’ll be able to make it in that amount of time.
I’ve got Lich King on pre-order with delivery hopefully on the day of release (in the UK) and then the Friday off work to have a LAN session with a couple of mates!

Dae? I am so looking forward to this opening. I’ll be standing there probably in my blue Cedar Point Hoodie … heck we are inside, and if I get cold, I get to snuggle into The Guy after all. ^_^ The next few days after that? Tons of soda, candy, and cashews… we are getting cashews even if I have to drag The Guy out to Walmart myself. This is going to be so fun!
As much as I’d love to drop by and say hey, Vermont is a little bit far from merry old England.
But when I go to pick up my pre-order I’ll be sure to have you in mind
