I am very excited to announce: Lock and Load: The Hunter Podcast featuring Drotara from Less QQ, More Pew Pew and myself, set to cover (as you might expect) all things Hunter. As Drotara is easily one of my favorite bloggers, I’m extremely excited about this new project of ours.

The first episode of Lock and Load is set to go live October 14th to coincide with the release of 3.0.2 on live servers. The podcast will be posted on both of our sites, so visitors and subscribers to both sites will have easy access. Our first initial recording was done last night, and we’re set to do a bit of extra recording tonight to put the “finishing touches” on the show before it’s debut.

In episode 1, Drotara and I cover the sweeping changes Hunters can expect to see in 3.0.2 (as well as in Wrath) and give our thoughts on some of the more drastic changes. A few of the things we cover in episode one are:

• The changes to Aimed Shot and how it will effect our shot rotations
• What to expect from Chimera Shot and Explosive shot (our new 51-point talents in MM and SV respectively)
• New Hunter Glyphs and their uses
• Changes to specs as a result of the sweeping talent changes we’ve seen

and more!

As our debut episode of Lock and Load, the podcast is going to be a bit more lengthy than might otherwise be the norm. With 3.0.2 coming soon and Wrath right around the corner, Drotara and I found we had plenty to talk about! Pending some editing, the first episode should clock in at about an hour and a half. (It is estimated that future episodes will likely only be an hour long.)

I’m very excited about this new joint effort between THM and Less QQ, More Pew Pew. Recording the podcast with Dro felt very comfortable, like just a fun chat with an old friend. I have long respected Dro as a knowledgable and insightful member of the Hunter community, and it gives me great pleasure to work with him on such a fun project. I hope you’ll all enjoy Lock and Load Episode 1 when it is released, October 14th!
