Well, I’ve still got a few things I’d like to tweak on it, but at least it’s fully functional now.

Encountering a slight problem. Im usin a mac (dont hate me =( ) and when im tryin to get a higher rank, on greater stamina for etc, It dosnt show numbers, only shows “Ranks” and i cant slide the bar down…wonder if it just wont work on macs. And I did set the level to 60..so it shuldnt be that..hmm.

Oh man…. I have no idea how I would deal with that on a Mac. I haven’t used one since like… 8th grade. And I have no way of figuring it out, since I don’t have a Mac to test on.

Maybe you’ve just run into a browser compatibility issue, and not necessarily a Mac issue? (That would certainly be easier to fix…) Is the browser you’re using a Mac-specific one, or it is something like FireFox? I tested the PTC in FireFox and IE before release, and didn’t encounter any glaring errors like the one you seem to be encountering. :/

If you could let me know what browser you’re using to view the PTC, and what version of the browser it is, I might have a better idea of what’s causing the error.

It’s certainly worth taking the time to fix, since just as many folks use Macs as PCs… or at least, a close enough ratio that it would certainly matter to me if there’s a Mac compatibility issue, lol.

Im using Safari (dont hate me xD) version 2.0.4 um..i hope its not because of safari hmmm…

I’ll have to see if I can get a Windows version of Safari and check things out. Hopefully I’ll be able to figure out what’s going on.

I’ll post an update once I’ve looked into it.

I love your talent calculator, it’s nice to see there is one for post-60 content.

I did notice, however, if you click the links for the resists to bring up the chart, the Rank 5 for each resist reads as +105 … whereas Rank 4 is +120.

Thought I’d point that out, but I think it’s superb nonetheless! Love your site, too, btw. >^..^

Charge rank six is listed in game as 29 pts not 25

At the moment, I just don’t have the time to mess with fixes (classes are headed towards finals, guild is gearing up for Karazhan raids, etc), but hopefully I’ll be able to get to them soon.

Also, I’ve noticed that the code structure is a bit sloppy at the moment, and I still haven’t finished linking all the skills properly in the iFrame. There’s a lot of work yet to be done on the calculator. Unfortunately, at the moment I just don’t have the time to address most of it.

I think once we’re closer to summer and school’s let out for the semester, I’ll have more time available to work on it.

First of all, thanks for providing the hunter community with a great little tool for their pet buddies. Secondly, I wanted to say the level 5 resistances aren’t +105, but should be +140, according to Wowhead.

Dash Rank 2 in the dropdown is correct listed at 20 points, however in the description when you click on it it lists rank 2 as 30 points.

Cower is there. Has been all along.
Did you make sure to select your pet’s type and level first, and verify that your specific type of pet is capable of learning Cower?

Yah, i selected cat level 70, but cower isnt there.

Found a minor thing:
“Shadow Resistance Rank 5 Level 60 105 points Trainer +105 Resist ”

It sais +105 resist but should be +140

As a note, raptors can learn dash now, and it’s not reflected in the talent calculator. The skill doesnt show up. Glad to help.

Wow! I can’t believe someone carried on with this calculator! I wrote the original before the level 70 cap good job updating it. Looks like you did a TON of js work. I designed the original layout to fit in a narrow frame hence the weird positioning of the total points field. If you put a width of 500px on the outer table It will all line up again.

Yeah, I did actually end up doing quite a bit of js tweaking to it. Probably not the most efficient way to have done things, but it ended up working the way I wanted, so all is well, I suppose.

I’ve actually added an in-line frame to display skill information on the right side (when you click on any of the given skills), so while it looks pretty off-kilter at first glance, it’s actually intentionally so.

I’ve thought about redoing the UI for it to something a bit more “pretty”, but folks seem to enjoy the simple functionality, so I’ve left it mostly as-is.

I’ve got some updates to make (raptors’ dash, for example ), and there’s a couple more things I’d like to tweak at some point, but that stuff is mostly “rainy day” kinda stuff.
